FACT, FINE ART FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS (factsantafe.org) --- Who
we are: Fine Arts for Children & Teens (FACT) was founded in 1990
and over the last 20 years, we have grown to serve more than 4,500 youth
throughout northern New Mexico during school, after school and on the
evenings and weekends. We emphasize reaching underprivileged young people,
and program sites include low-income public schools, the county detention
center, and our own local community art studio. FACT believes that the
arts can help young people gain fundamental academic and social skills,
making them more confident and overall better life-long learners.
