Shelby is my muse. I am an artist and am certain this isn't the first time in her existence on Earth that she has been around performing these tasks. Put up for adoption twice, she reached her destiny with us 4 years ago where she's served as muse and flock-protector of 4 cats and 6 doves.

 


Bearing a striking resemblance to the ancient Egyptian god, Anubis, I'm convinced she once posed for statues found in Egypt today.

Suddenly she was my muse. Overseer of all that I do, from the construction project of my studio floor to granting final approval on each of my cow portraits as it leaves the studio.


In fact, occasionally she may even pose for one!
