Snowflake is a one of a kind mosaic tiled pig created by M.E. Bilisnansky-McMorrow. He is part of a very limited number (three so far!) of tile animals done by the artist, who is known for her oil portraits of cows and bulls. Like the other tile animals, Snowflake is intended to be used as decorative art only. He is not meant to support weight, and can easily topple over if placed on unsure footing or pushed too far! He is not recommended for display around children who might be tempted to "cuddle" him, as the nature of the broken tile mosaics is that there are often very sharp edges which can cause cuts.

Please take extreme care (gloves are recommended) in moving the piece to his new location.

Snowflake can be kept outdoors in the summer only, as the tiles are not durable if exposed to excessive temperature changes or freezing which may cause damage to the tiles and to the artwork. If he spends his summers in the garden, please be sure that he is in a shaded, protected spot where he will not be subjected to drastic changes of temperature throughout the day which may loosen the tiles from the fiberglass base.To clean him, feel free to take him into the yard and hose him liberally. Water will not hurt the tile unless it is frozen.
